Handel Messiah in Candlelight
Handel Messiah in Candlelight
Artist
Matthew Halls, conductorHouston Symphony Chorus Charles Hausmann,
directorKatherine Whyte, sopranoJay Carter, countertenorThomas Cooley, tenorJeremy Galyon, bass-baritone
On friday night, Jenny and I was invited to Handel Messiah in Candlelight by Charles again.
It was same place I went to christmas concert last time, but whole differet genre!
Compare to pop classic, it was more like solemn, deep, serious music.. it was amazing..
I hadn't slept that day, therefore sort of sleepy during the concert(how dare I was) tho..
I always thought the classic, orchestra would bore me ( I never been classic concert before)
but apparently, I really liked them.
since It was sort of formal concert, the way people dressed up kept me interested in looking at them. I didn't really dress up tho, I wore just as usual. it was super freezing in downtown.
afterwards, I came back home and rest of the night went well.
